    Default Washers stink please help

    Hi
I had exactly the same problem. I removed the washer bottle pump and filter from the washer bottle and cleaned them both, I put only the pump back and left the filter off as my washers had been blocking. I gained access the the washer bottle through the passenger side front wheel arch by removing the inner wheel arch lining, quite easy really.

Have you used a plastic milk carton to fill the fluid bottle with?

Does this make a differance as I have used a milk carton and had the same problem
But cured it by dropping a sterodant Tablet in the washer bottle

Milk carton might have old milk residue left.........we all know what that smells like.

My mate had this on his old 307 (he has since joined the Vectra brigade), and emptied the bottle with his drill fed pump and flushed it with a vinegar based solution. Job was a goodun.
