    Default will adding twin exhausts require mapping?

    hi im about to fit a twin exhaust set-up on my 1.9 cdti sri seen this in a how 2 using original silencers, will this effect the mapping , will i need to do anything i.e. remap, cheers

    No. If done properly the right back pressure will be kept with smaller diameter bores after the y like the stock twins on a YH over an SE

    No as its a diesel turbo it does not require back pressure as such.

    erm cheers mate that made sense to me til i got to the YH over an SE sorry mate im new to all this, im going with the irmscher y piece exhaust and getting a silencer off a 2.2 direct hatch, will this be ok? im planning on a remap like hopefully soon just didnt want it to need done now...

    Z22SE is the petrol 2.2 and Z22YH is the newer 2.2 petrol (Direct) which is fitted with a twin system. You wont have any probs mate as big sig said. Some CDTi owner dont even have any back boxes just tail pipes.

    right it official im about to f***ing explode firstly laptop is running slow dont know why, secondly i cant ****** resource a silencer from a 2.2 direct sri hatch anywhere, tell me why you would ask someone i.e. me to ring you only for them to tell me they havent got one, a hole..sorry but as you can tell im not happy does anyone know where i can get one for def??? in case your wondering why ill enclose pic from how 2......
