    confused ESP Button?

Hi all, today while tinkering with my vectra I found a blue plug behind the blank where the ESP button goes (next one down from the alarm button on rh side of radio stack) If I was to get an ESP button would it work? My car is a 56 plate SRi. Thanks.

Think if you have ESP already then the button allows you to turn it off however if you don't have ESP, the button won't magically activate it.

I think you mean where the TC button goes.

TC and ESP are two separate things.

It also doesn't mean that it will actually turn it off.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

I was thinking that, not that I would want to turn mine off. I have ESP only 'cos mine's a V6, but you can look at the white sticker on your ABS unit under the wiring connector and it will say ESP if fitted.

For the record you have both ESP and TC on a GSI. ESP, where fitted, includes TC. The switch if fitted will turn both off.
