Simple as that. How many miles do you have on your 3.0CDTi? What sorts of problems have you had with this engine and at what mileage?

I had the EGR done at 152k. Seems like it might need a new one as today it kicked into limp mode again just like the time the EGR was bad.

My engine currently has just over 158k

65-75k I think, Flywheel is currently gone but its not getting done as its going back soon. Boost sensor has been changed in the past.

I'd need to update my vote every quarter!

Cambelt replacement has been authorised, awaiting parts

just over 50,000 and the only problems were not related to the engine, i.e. door stop/check straps replaced under warranty, heater cold/hot air mixer motor, and of course the crunchy springs, but they have settled down & now seem fine. Apart from that the only other expense I've incurred was rear pads at about 40,000 and replacement tyres, oh and some rear brake bulbs.

Not bad for four years old & 50,000 miles. That's done it, it will probably blow up next week!

Indeed, you must rarely exceed 50mph, and be driving less than 10K miles a year
I go through two front tyres every 10K miles / 4 months
Front brake pads every 20K miles / 8 months
Rear brake pads and discs at 50K miles / just under 3 years

Maintenance costs, as at 24 July / 86368 miles is £0.0237 per mile

50K on mine. Had a problem with starting early on -fixed with an ECU update.
Only other problem is it's appetite for tyres.

Not at all. I do a reasonable mix, of motorway, A & B roads plus some in town. I certainly don't hang around!

The car is 4 years old & at 50,000 miles I am averaging 12 to 13k per year. I've gone through 3 sets of tyres. Found that Goodyear F1s only lasted about 8,000 miles on the front. The Falkens I have on now are about a year old and are only half warn so I guess it's down to what tyres you have.

I can't understand why the front pads (original ones) are still good at 50,000. I've never got that much out of pads on any other car. Maybe its the big 3.0 brakes???
