    Default Weekend Detail

    Another free weekend rolls round and there is another car that needs detailing so here we go.

    Jeep Cherokee Liberty Sport

    Step 1 - Clean and prep
    - Snowfoam
    - 2 bucket wash with CG Citrus wash and gloss
    - rinse and dry using waffle towel
    - clayed using sonus clay and dodo juce born slippy clay lube
    - 2 bucket wash, rinse and dry

    Step 2 - Correction & shine
    - CG Pro polish and a polishing pad
    - UDS on roof
    - CG EZ Creme Glaze on whole car

    Step 3 - Protection
    - CG Jetseal 109, 2 coats
    - CG Speed Wipe & Streak Free Quickshine

    Step 4 - Dressings etc...
    - All plastics dressed with AB bumper care
    - Arches dressed with CG Fade to black
    - Tyres dressed with CG New Look Trim Gel
    - Windows cleaned with CG Window Shine
    - Chrome polished with Megs NXT all metal polish
    - Alloys waxed with SmatWax RimWax

    The claying was actually done a couple of weeks back but the rest was started at 16:00 Saturday and all finished at 18:00 today.

    in your 1st photo you can see the lines(are they swirls) around the sun. later they are gone. how did you rid of them as i have tried and failed on my vec

    Im no master like this - but I think its called claying that gets rid of the swirls !

    Correct they were swirls. It takes a lot of patience.

    I'm guessing you have tried a polisher of some sort with correct pads and polish etc...?

    no i think thats my problem as i dont have one. hand doing it just doesnt seem to be shifting them. will have to buy/lend a polisher
