    Default Removing Rain Sensor

Can someone please explain how to remove the rain / light sensor. I've removed the trim, and unclipped the silver clips but I cannot get the sensor to budge. Just want to clean the windscreen where the sensor fits to see if it improves the sensitivity of the sensor

You need to lever it away with a small screwdriver , it's a snug fit , so be careful of the screen!
If the sensor splits in 2 pieces don't worry , the bit with the circuit board just clips back together.

To be honest I can't see it being dirty in there.
Best thing to do is run a stanley blade over the outside of the glass.
But use it sideways , not lengthways so not to scratch the glass.

How sensitive to "dirt" on the screen are the sensors then?.

I don't think it will make much of a difference tbh , If it was thick with mud then yes .

The "AUTO" option on the lights is pretty useless and although I agree the chance of it making any improvement is minimal, I figure it's worth a try for the amount of time it'll take.
