Default Residue on 1 of the Battery Connections

    Hi guys,

The other day, i was refilling the screenwash reservoir.

When i lifted up the battery cover, I noticed there was a dry residue (oxidised substance) on one of the battery contacts.

    Questions are:

    1) What is this ?

    and

    2) Is it anything to worry about ?

It's nothing to worry about but you may like to clean it off after releasing the connections & applying a little 'petroleum jelly' (Vaseline) keeps a good contact ready for those damp starts in the winter (Remember you may need your Radio code) hth ........
