    Default Rear tail light bulbs?

What bulbs are needed for the brakes and indicators? Can't seem to find any info anywhere on what bulbs I need. Halfords and autobulbs direct seem to list different bulbs. I have brake bulb warning on. I heard theres a back up set to take over for safety, is this true? Haven't needed to change bulbs on the tail light so I don't know the score. I have the facelift Vectra.

Also this emergency braking feature lights I hear about on the Vectra, is it the hazard indicators that flash or something else?

Maybe we could do a bulbs fitament guide so people know what bulbs they need? Unless theres one already someone can point me in the direction lol. I know that the front bulbs on facelift are H7 dipped beam, H1 main beam and H3 fog lights, although am unsure about the indicator bulbs.

Thanks very much for this. Maybe we should put a sticky up about the bulbs so the question doesn't keep getting asked.

Indicator, fog, stop and tail lights are all standard 21W bulbs with non-offset pins. Indicator bulbs need to be orange-coloured at rear if plastic lens cover is not orange-coloured.

Correct, hence why you can use the non working nearside fog light bulb as a spare.

Except the indicator, its a 581 bulb, so you can't use the "spare" one
Equally, finding them is a nightmare, so I bought a box of 10 from electroquest (same price as a twin pack from Halfords - out of stock)

As a 2006 Vectra it's not a 2006 MY then, it will be a 2007 MY (ie facelift)
Check the stamp plates on the vehicle for details on the MY (model year)

I find this quite confusing as the change in front end (facelift) occurred in October 2005...therefore 55 plate...so how can anything as old as October 2005 be MY 2007?

Not dissing anyone...just a point of fact.

Then again Vx change things randomly...but general history of changes is: -
Launch Vec C in Oct 2002

Change from part can to full can approx Oct 04 (mainly affects radios etc and electrical items).

Change front body shape in Oct 05 (the obvious physical part changes)

Run out Vec c in Oct 08...even though the Insignia is not available in the uk til Jan 09.
