    Engine : Various

    Year : 1 A.D

    Mileage : Rising

    Default Steering wheel SIM ?

    My mates Vectra's horn has stopped working and he's been told that it's the SIM.
    We gather that the SIM is fitted to the steering column and allows the electrical connections to the wheel (audio/horn buttons) to work while the steering wheel is rotated.

    Can anyone enlighten me please ?

    Does he need a new SIM and if so, how easy are they to do ?

    Might be a daft question , but has he checked the physical connections on the horn .

    cim . colum intergrated module . . . . there not to dear new about £150+ and take about a hour to fit and program at a dealer .......
