West Midlands meets

There's a West Midlands meet taking place on August 2nd at RAF Cosford.
ALL club members and their families are welcome.

Also hoping to get a rolling road day set up. Again all welcome to attend once times and dates have been arranged.

Always seems to be a good meet at Cosford. If you have never been there yet, come along. You will have a great time.

Hi There. It is not a daft question.
We meet up and park all the motors together. Have a chat and "compare" cars, and ask eachother questions about what mods they have done and admire the modded cars. Then at a meet like Cosford we go for a tour inside and look at the planes on show. It is a good way of making new friends. A lot of members have made good friends from some of these meets. You will not be an outcast. But be made very welcome. So don,t be affraid tp turn up. You will enjoy it at one of the meets.
Some meets we have are at a "pub", where we after a good chat on the carpark go inside for a meal, and more car chat.

Hi Charlie, as Ed has posted, just turn up, have a chat, see what others have done to their cars, be it modifications or just detailed to the highest standards.
Most of all, you'll enjoy it and make some good friends to boot !

Just need to add, i hear that there will be a small charge for parking at the museum from August 1st.

BUT it's still free to go see the exhibits.

Thanks for the replys,

Sounds very good. What is the normal age range of people at these meets? It would be nice to bring the wife and son too (he is only 15 weeks old, but wnat to start his intrest in cars early!) would that be an issue, do others do that?

i`d be there but ya picked the same day as the lil (darlin) gets christened.........other than that i`m goin next one.......i`ll get him into vx before anyone rots his brain with inferior fords

thedon1066. There is no age limit. All your family will be made welcome. I will be bringing my wife along too. She accompanies me to many of the meets.

Don't worry about the weather, it's mostly indoors !

Sounds good but I won't be welcome as I'll be committing the worst sin of all - my vecs very dirty & I'll be driving to Manchester & back Sat so won't have time to clean it before Sun (other than a half hearted car wash).
