    Default cdti 15o faults

    Right my 54 plate 15o cdti has the following in the last year. rear shocks, egr valve, swirl valve flaps, alternator, wiper inkage and today clutch and dual mass flywheel. Is there any more I can expect other than snapped springs in the near future as am hopeing most of the commom things have gone now and i can spend my money on upgrades instead....

    On the 1.9, possible all the above again!
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    Big Sig is absolutely right! Especially wiper motors & EGR valves.

    Clutch hasn't gone on mine yet but I'm not expecting it to last long (despite only having done 35K miles). Also now have the dreaded diesel smell in the cabin when I'm starting it up.......

    ps - also had the interior light fail - doesn't come on when you open the doors - the dealer says it's the body control module, so that won't be getting fixed.
    pps - also don't forget the stress fractured windscreen - I've had one of those!

    4 CDTi 150's. 200,000 miles, only had a set of injectors changed on my current car. Other than that not a fault.

    I had a gearbox and DMF problem as well, but this is the only car I have had a few issues with and now appears to be perfect.

    The other 3 engines were faultless. The 1.9 has it's problems, but there are far more out there that never have an issue than those that do. You could get DMF problems will all engines not just the 1.9.
