    Unhappy Air Con not working

    Hi guys,

Having some problems with the air con in my 07 vectra sri, it makes a hissing noise when i turn the air con on and the noise stays on, also the air con is not blowing out cold air as cold as it use to or not cold at all.
Thought about a regas but ask here just in case it is a known fault you guys know about.

    Cheers.

I get mine done at Kwik Fit £45. They pressure test it first and if its leaking they dont charge. Please note this is the only thing I would recommend Kwik tw*ts for!

Oh I forgot to say if any of the pipes are gone they are not cheap, even the washers are about £10 each

Thanks for help guys, I'll take it down to Kwik fit tomorrow which used to be Charlie Brown at where I live and also I know the people which should not be too much trouble. If any parts do need replacing would that be covered under the warranty.

If the condenser has been damaged by loose chippings, then no as classed as an act of god.
Things like pipes and the compressor generally are covered, as long as the pipes don't show signs of any impact damage.

Mine has been nothing but trouble. 3 weeks out of warranty and the condenser packed up. Seriously expensive. Get it into Vx whilst you still have a warranty!

    Thanks everyone,

My air con problem seems to be sorted now after a regas, checked for leak with their machine and no leak found. Not sure why it needed a regas being just over 2 year old car.
