    Default vec c 2.2 middle section exhaust

    as title would any centre section silencer from a vec c fit my petrol 2.2 or is there a certain one also has anyone done away with the centre section if so whats it like as im thinking about cutting the centre section silencer out and getting a piece of pipe welded in its place

    The centre sections are engine specific mate. Different bore size and some don't even have a centre box like the 2.0T. Centre sections go pretty cheap on ebay and zorst places, its only the SRi back boxes that cost the earth and only available through VX.

    hi mate cheers for repy,ive been looking into changing the whole system from a vec c to a b so that the cat isnt situated on the manifold as long as i get the same engine size exhaust is this possible ie z22se vec b been told it is by a couple of people just didnt want to get everything needed to find out it wont fit

    You could fit a vec b manifold, you would then need a custom down pipe, think a landy one is the right size, sports cat, Nemesis UK do one for £60 then its up to you what you fit to the back. There was a thread in the for sale section a couple of months ago about a 2.2 centre section with no middle box for a c.
