    Default Mis-fire hesitation 1800 -2000 rpm cdti 150

Every now and then when accelerating I get a hesitation at about 1800 - 2000 rpm only on light throttle if I accelerate hard its ok but it doesn't do it every time maybe once or twice on a ten mile trip, any idea's? its on a 2006 cdti 150

Could be a clogged up EGR valve or the Swirl valves. Have a search for both on here and see what you think

Sounds like an airflow issue? Bust hose or bust intercooler. Other issues could be throttly body but more likely to be air escaping.

I have the same problem i booked it in to nationwide autocare in cambridge and they plugged it in to computer and said there is not fault registering so they cant fix it (under extended warrenty)... they also said that it was ok on the test drive and they couldnt feel any missfire...when i went to pick the car up it did it again...mine even does it when im on motorway changing 5th to 6th at around 70 and has even done it at 80mph... makes me laugh that they cant fix somthing cos the computer says there is nothing wrong with it ???? the guy must obviously think that vecs come standard with missfires.

Mine did it when accelerated slowly in 3rd gear at about 2k revs. I cleaned the egr valve and solenoid and now it's OK.
