Smile Bought the stuff, just need the weather!

Ok, so now I have :- Megs clay bar+Quick detailer
    A/G S R P
    A/G U D S
    FK 1000P
All thats reqd now is some fine weather to get stuck into the black thingy, but after the claying how many times is best with the srp? also same for the uds, I`m gonna do 2/3 coats of the 1000p to finish off, so how long will it last before needing more 1000p?
I understand that I can use the quick detailer after a wash to keep up to the finish but not sure about the 1000p lasting qualities.
the finish is not bad on the motor but I thought that it may as well have a clay session before any other work is started, as they say, `its all in the preperation` any comments are welcome thanks, keith

well you wont want a hot sunny day either ............
once with the SRP and the same with the UDS .
waxing cars is usually only 2 or 3 times a year .
Black cars are a pain for water marks so I use the AG wet wax during the drying stage on Her in doors black corsa

AG SRP - designed to hide swirl marks and fine scratches
AG UDS - designed to give a deep shine to dark coloured cars

My advice would be to apply one or two coats of SRP (if you are suffering from swirl marks) and one coat of UDS. After that one or two coats of FK will be fine and that will last you about 4-6 months (mine's still going ). On a last note, I would use the quick detailer at the end on top of the wax to remove any left over wax and bring out the shine

Have fun mate, don't forget the pics

Well its done! last Saturday, started about 10am and did,

    a, clayed it

    b, srp

    c, uds

    d, 2 coats of 1000p

finished about 4pm, well sweated up, but boy it has been well worth the hard graft, its like glass + on Sunday I ordered the Opel GTS sports grille from LMF EBAY SHOP £9.95 + £10 delivery {brand new} it came weds, now its on and looks the dogs bits, I washed the motor at tea time today and the 1000p has really cured top notch, the water just bounces off!!
My son has taken pics of it on his digital and is gonna post them up for you all to have a look at, oh and its 30mm lower now, I think it might have to have some tints done soon, when oh when does it stop?
