Don't know if EBC are doing the greenstuff for the Vec C yet.. but there are other options avaliable..the thread was only on here recently..try doing a search for 'brakes'..

Changing the pads is easy.. there's a how-2 in that section..the only thing the Dumb author of the post didn't do is mention that you need to gently unclip the sensor wire on the nearside..

Hi Mark, there are GS pads for the C, these do them:

    http://www.performancecentre.co.uk/p/Home.asp

Click the 'search by car' link on the left of the page, chuck in the vectra-c and look on the brakes page

That's interesting, The discs are cheaper for drilled and grooved than a standard one from the dealers! Pads are pricey though, I'd stick with VX ones and get their discs.

Those Black Diamond discs look the business too, it's just a shame they don't stay black. The prices for the pads on there are not too bad for genuine EBC greenstuff etc. but it was just posted as an example that greenstuffs are available for the vec-c. If you look closely you'll see they even have the cut-out for the aformentioned sensor

No they are good prices, It's just that the pads that came with the car have put the car on its nose a few times now, and as such I don't really think I need to upgrade them. For your info, VX pads are about £40 front and £30 rear, so like you say, the price isn't too bad, just more than I want to spend for something I'd be hard pushed to notice any difference, plus I've heard greenstuff don't last, and they make a mess of your wheels.

EBC discs I would only use with EBC pads.

Standard ones arn't very good in my experience with other cars.
