    Default Tyres Tyres Tyres

    Heya all,

need some tyre advice, ive got 215/55/16's on and there wearing low so ive swapped them with the rear untill next payday.

WHAT A DIFFERNCE IN HANDLING!!!! ive gone from bridgestones at the front to the ones on the rear that are like some bujdet brand that vauxhall stuck on before i bought it. im understeering everywhere where as before i got a nice amount of oversteer when on wet roads.

What is a sort of decent tyre for no more than about £110 a corner.

(plus if its got that tread that looks like V's thatd be good. might as well get good looking tyres)

    Ta guys, Will

Vredestein Sportrac 3 in that size. In 225 you could try Goodyear F1 Eagles but when I had them I thought they got a bit noisy esp on the rear.

    i've got some goodyear optigrips

they are great in the wet and dry and the tread pattern changes as they wear giving you increased stopping distance/power over other worn tyres

no issues on road noise experienced - done over 4k on them now as still as good as new

i can happily drive through water that would have caused my nct's to aquaplane

    cant rate them highly enough

im not sure if i can get 225's on my wheels. there just standard vauxhall wheels. but on the back of them it says 6.5J which i think means it can only fit a max of 215's on it

Are Toyo's good? my freind says there okay......but he does drive a saxo lol
