Would you do it?
My concern is 25% extra power after 3 years and 80,000 miles... or should the car take it no issue?
Any views on this guys? Might help with my current car decission dilema?

Please can someone move this to the tuning diesel section?? not sure why its here?
Fanks!
Mike
if the works completed by a reputable company
then they would probably read your ecu for faults PRIOR to the remap
if its all ok then no issues really as its a diesel - probably just starting to bed in
0-Large smile ......every time it's driven
hmmm, need to look at what places are best for me! Looking on the web, MPG looks the closest...
Mike
MPG are ment to be really good they have a very good reputation.
Are you looking at remapping yours mate so you dont have to change your car??
There's always Motorsport Developments in Blackpool - they are supposed to be very good remaps too.
mate, mine has 103k and im gonna remap it, dont worry about it! lol
Yes, thats the general idea, if i can remap it, and perhaps put on a exhaust which gives a slight performance noise, then yeh, i will consider keeping the car!
It's my thinking i cant tune it which is a major vactor, and the second one, is the vanity of having a 3.0 again... But, buy the sounds of it, a remapped 1.9 will kick its arse in standard form!
Mike
look in to a BSR remap
