Default Scraping & Whirring front o/s wheel

Morning. As it's a pleasant start to the day I've driven to work with the windows open. Unfortunately my attention was quickly drawn to a scraping / whirring sound from the front o/s wheel. I've had a quick look at the disc and it doesn't appear to be scored so I don't reckon theres a stone stuck in there - what else could that be?

Look at the metal 'crap' guard around the back of the disc, it moves forward and starts to touch the disc causing this noise

Thanks. Is that the technical name for it? Is the easiest way to get to this with the wheel off and opposite lock? Is it 'obvious' to see?

I think the proper name is a dust arrestor, its best to see/get at with the wheel off and yes it will be obvious to see. Dont forget to check the bottom of the disc as well as this is normally where it touches.
