Default Exhaust gas temps with tuning

I ran my little girl down to the road and tested it with various levels of tuning to see what effect they had on temps. Was only able to take temps at the exit but they still showed interesting results.

    These figures are aproximate

    Remap
168bhp (Needs looking at since the new engine went in)
    400 Deg C

    Methanol (80%) :water (20%) - 0.8 ltr/min
    200bhp
    480 Deg C

    Tuning box
    200bhp
    550 Deg C

Tuning box and Methanol (massive over fueling)
    200bhp
    400 Deg C

So as you can see, the exhaust temps are increased drastically by tuning but If I increase the water percentage in my water/methanol injection setup, I should be able to bring them down much lower than can be achived with adding diesel alone.

Bit disapointed with the figures though, the remap isn't doing very well on this engine and I don't know what state it's in as VX tried to flash over it. Some or all of it must still be there though to be hitting 168bhp.

Results were taken at GotBoost in Llandow South Wales, Chris was looking at the place for a possible event, so I went and looked first Nice chap and plenty of room, would recomend them.

Interesting results Karl, when are you getting the remap sorted?
