    Default Diesel hesitation??

Hello all, I d like to pick the brains of the masses if I may!

I have a 03 vectra 2.2 DTI SRI. It is suffering from a hesitation when you put your foot down. It can be in any gear and can be a slight hickup or a series of hesitations all the way to the red line.

As of yet I have not had any warning lights on the dash.

I have been wading through the various forums to try and get to the bottom of it, but to no result.

    So far I have:
-Cleaned and checked the egr, It was suprisingly clean. Operation seem ok.
-Fitted a new mass air flow sensor.
-Checked pipes for splitting and wear.

I am now at a loss. This is my first vauxhall so I am a little stumped.

    Any ideas???

Did you remove the inlet elbow, they get coked up quite badly & also clean the boost sensor which is located on the inlet elbo too!
Also get some fuel treatment - millers or lucas etc... & a good old italian tune up hth...

After a trip down the motorway today, I think I may have discribed the fault incorrectly. Its more of a flat spot than a hesitation.

    Any ideas??
