clunk on my autobox

hi sorry my first post is a question but i am worried
i just bought vectra c 2.2 elegance auto

it has 90k fully serviced next service is next jan
i noticed when engaging drive there is a small pause then sometimes a nasty jold foward even worse when selecting from reverse

but the drive home from northampton to loch lomond 400 miles was effortless and faultless

just the wee jolt that is worrying me is it the torque convertor perhapse?
or is the oil transmision oil needing changed?
any info would be truely apretiated

has the box been serviced if you dont know get it done it wont hurt.
ive got a 2.2 auto with 23k on it. i know the gearbox doesnt get looked at on a full service from vauxhall. Book it in mate, bet its never seen an oil change.

hi,

when you book it in just get gearbox oil change. should only cost 20 quid.

the oil might be low or has more mosture (water) then oil.
