    Default Remaping/invalidate warranty

    Hi
    Does remapping invalidate your warranty. I have 3 years manaufacturers warrantly left

    In a nutshell - yes the dealer may inform Vx if they found out. They can't void the whole car warranty, but they may refuse any work i.e. engine/gearbox type stuff if they say that the remap has been the cause of any failure etc.

    It all depends on the dealer ATEOTD and their approach to things.

    You can map it with a BSR system though. The beauty of it is you can put it back to standard and re map it at your leisure if it needs to go back to the dealer and bobs your uncle, but if your caught with the map on then your back to square one.
