speedo lcd

hi does anyone know if i can replace this lcd screen or repair the ribbon holding it. its the screen with your mileage on. i have damaged the ribbon and have lost a number!! or if anyone has a speedo with a spare one on

hi Paul , I am afraid its a new set of clocks. The ribbon can be repaired but it is a job for someone who has the right tools.

yeah thats what i thought id finished soldering the leds looked up at the tele looked down and burnt a small hole through one of the ribbon connections

I've been there although mine was due to a slip of a 'Stanely Knife' but did manage a repair worth a try imo ....

I did the same thing mate, but on the speedo shaft. A good multi angled clamp is a must if I were to ever do it again.
