    Default Valve Lifters

    Hi
    My 1.8 06 (23k Miles)

It was sat at the weekend, and not used I went to start it this morning and got a clattering from what i gather to be the Valve Lifters
The clattering went away after a few miniutes.

This is exactly what my Astra used to do, however i thought that this wouldnt really happen on a low milage modern engine.

Oil pressure and level is fine, should i be worried?

    Many Thanks

well it has been serviced not by a Vauxhall Garage but by the indiependant that i bought it from. ill have to check it out

Its funny you should say that, ive always thought that it sounded rough, and it takes a good 4 seconds for the oil light to go out, even though oil levels are fine.
