    Default seat occupancy sensor

does anyone know the resistance of this sensor and which pins in the floor block connector relate to it?

i have changed the interiors around in my vectras and my 53 elite is spitting its dummt out as the 07 sri seats i fitted mustnt have this sensor.
i got no problems with the 52 elite seats in the 07 sri. i was hoping i could wire a resistor between the two pins to fool the system and the reset the airbag ecu.

or is it a simple enough job to take the sensor from one seat and fit it to another?

I would also like to know this question as I have fitted elite leather seats in mine and can't get the airbag light off. I looked at the plug on the elite seats and the plug connected to the car and they look like all the wires go to different places. I would really like someone with a vectra LS to take a picture of the seat plug and put it on hear for me to compare. mine is a 53 2003 model if that makes a difference. mine comes up as fault b0099 (SOD) seat occupancy detection mismatch. even dealer couldn't do it with tech2. said the airbag ecu is locked and to buy a new one at a high cost.

Hmm - it may mean a bit of seat stripping to unplug the grey seat sensor mat connector.
The plug is tucked in behind / below the seat cushion.

The air bag light comes on because a sensor mat is being detected when the module is not expecting it to be there.

You get the same result if the module is expecting a mat to be there, but the plug is disconnected or you have fitted seats without the sensors.

It depends from territory to territory.
Some areas have more "higher specification" vehicles than others, and trim levels differ too.

If you are looking to get sensor mats, then you will need seats from high specification model.
In the UK, that would be Elite or Elegance models...
    Probable leather seats.
