Default Air Con Condenser Part No. Required and How to Fit it

Hello, air con condenser broken so if anyone could supply me with part numbers for the 1.8 vvti 140bhp engine and any seal bits I need I would be most grateful.

And if anyone could tell me how to change it as well, then I would be just as grateful as I will be for the part numbers.

Just got a job after 3 months on dole and even though the weather's poor, I still need that cold blast.

    Thanks in advance
    Andrew.

For the Z18XE, XER, XEL engines, manual/auto transmission, part no 24418362 (Opel 18 50 076)

You might find a slightly better price on an aftermarket equivalent unit though.

I used this bunch for the condenser for my old Omega :

the part arrived in decent time and was a perfect fit.

As for how to fit it -not done one of these - refer to Haynes book

rarely that difficult though if you know your way round a toolkit. Good chance you'll need Torx sockets at some point though.

Once fitted, down to KwikFit to get it pressure tested and refilled for £45 (or less).
