    Default Virgin Media Laptop Deal

Virgin Media are doing a bundle package deal where you get a *free* Notebook.

The normal price for a package we are getting is £58 a month (tv, broadband, phone)

With the laptop deal its that price for 3 months then goes up to £73 for the rest of the 9 months.

So for £135 you get a Notebook, Plus a dongle allowing 1 gb use

I'll be phoning up 2moro to get my order changed to include this as we were looking to get a notebook in the future anywayz.

    Anywayz LINKY

Its not being installed till the 13th Aug, and then i have 28 days cooling off period after that.

I cant imagine them saying no. but if they do i'll cancel it then get Sophie to order it instead.

Its nice it works out just right for us tbh

    Not bad mate!

I know they do a £20 a month deal for all 3 but thats for the 10meg broadband and lowest of low tv and phone etc etc.

Just watch the £11 a month for phone line rental as its not inculded in their main prices and is always one of those *items.

    Hi Diet1985

£73 for 9 months or 9 months and then a year as most of the offers I've seen are 2 year jobbies.
    - not that I can afford that much a year (or two)

    Just spotted that

Ok not such a great deal

Its an extra £315 for the 2 year contract... and it states the notebook its self is only worth £260 and ONLY comes with 1 years warranty..

    I think the phrase :
If its too good to be true, it usually is.

    applies here!

The TV package is free for 3 months, you then get "upgraded" and charged for the phone line (additional £11 per month)
    Check the small print

I've been on their "two for £25" for 3 years now; TV and broadband
Due to the change in VAT it has been £23.50 since January 2009

That link takes me to the main VM website, so here is the link you need to use :
    http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html...s/netbook.html

Note it is a 24 month contract
As always, check the small print
If you are an existing customer, you cannot roll it into your existing contract, it replaces it
Complete (TV, broadband, phone, mobile) starts at £40 per month, so presumably you are on XXL package which is £58 / £62 per month

Check that the Virgin Mobile coverage in the area you plan to use is sufficient
I was on Virgin Mobile for 12 months, their map showed I had "good / excellent" coverage, but that was not the case; no signal at all!
It was fine when I was out and about, but as soon as I got home it was useless

Ironically, you will probably be cheaper simply buying the dongle and netbook separately
