Default Annoying mp3 file names too long

wonder if anyone can help with this? when I burn an mp3 disc sometmes the album name is also in the track name so when you look on the disc in the car for the tracks all you see is the album name as its too long to display on the screen, can't see any way to modify the the file on the computer, and it would take ages to delete part of every track text even if I could see a way of doing it

    cheers for any help.

p.s using Roxio media creator 2009

If you want to change every track to have the same album name, simply select all tracks, right click, select properties, select details, change album name from there...all will be changed to a shorter album name.

Ok, tried that not working here is an example of what I mean

01- SIMPLY RED GREATEST HITS MONEYS TOO TIGHT TO MENTION

that comes up at the start of each track and also under album and artist which is farther along the page, looks like I would need to edit each track as you described, that will take fookin ages!!

    cheers for the replies

Are you saying every tracks displays " SIMPLY RED GREATEST HITS MONEYS TOO TIGHT TO MENTION " or " SIMPLY RED GREATEST HITS NEXT TRACK " ...... Does the next track display artist/album/track name
