Y20DTH dmf
Might be a bit thick here but does anyone know if the Y20DTH (2.0Dti) has a DMF (dual mass flywheel) i assumed all diesels would have them but there seem's to be alot of threads on the CDTI DMF,
My brother has just tried to do his clutch and he said his has a DMF and its rattling like a good un been quoted £370 off dealers
Yes Don it does but they aren't as prone to failing as the cdti's

it's an SMF (solid mass flywheel) isn't it on the DTi
Well some of the very early transition cars don't have them but most do, so do the 2.2's

Oh well something new learnt Everydayalways thought the DTI was SMF and CDTi was DMF.
Just as prone to go as any other variant with a dmf
