    Default bulb failure light

    since i put led side lights on my car it shows up that i have a bulb out but there is nothing wrong. any1 any ides on how i can reset it????

    i had same problem(check parklight), only way is to take them out, doesnt like them!!

    Its because they arent drawing the same wattage as a normal 501 side light bulb. You need to get one with No OBC errors that have resistors in to mimic the same wattage as the standard ones. Havent seen any around yet though?

    thanks a lot lads. never knew about this site til lately but im slowly working thru all the niggling problems. wil get pic up soon, jus as soon as i have cleaned it haha cheers

    Not quite, its all down to the resistance of the lamp. You can get round it by fitting leds that have a resistor in them too so it fools the lamp check
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    Or fit the original side light bulbs elsewhere out of sight via some flying leads to fool the bulb failure system.
