    Default camera help !!!!!!!!!

    i have been thinking about getting a dslr camera, i've seen some second had ones in cash convertors, so could someone please tell me what i need to look out for as i havent got a clue

    guys im selling a cracking d60 in the for sale section if youre interested will also sell with the lens if needed, look it up on the web this camera gets brilliant reviews

    The Nikon and Canon range,are both good.not much too choose between the two.Also consider the Sony alpha as well (A200 ,A350 etc.)My advise would be to go to a camera shop and try a few to see which feels right to you, at the price you can afford and then seek advice on the range you like.I use the Nikon D300 but also have the Sony A350.Its better to buy good lens rather then cheaper ones as they can improve the quality alot.Then later if you upgrade,you have only the body to concentrate on.Hope this helps

    Canon EOS 400 is a good start, the 40D is for once you get your teeth into it all ;-)

    thanks m8, i will go and have another look at what they have, and wright down the relivant info and come back to you, if thats ok , as i dont want to buy something thats going to be no good, and its just to get use to taking proper pics

    If I can be of any help, just ask,plenty of other guys on here are awesome photographers and they will keep you right also.Mind you ita addictive when you get into it and can be expensive until you get the gear you want.Almost like a vectra

    lol, thats why i want a good camera,so i can take good pics of the vectra, as i have got it the way i want it
