My Work on Sunday.......

....was on my own car.

Decided my interior hadnt had a good clean in a few months so set to work on it.

After vacing out i decided to get the extractor out and do the whole interior properly with the wet and dry including seats, mats and door card fabric ect.

heres the pics of how it turned out after it had dried out...

Then couldnt leave it there to the outside for a good wash and was finished with a new product im trying out called "Auto Glym Instant Show Shine". Believe it or not this actualy makes the car very very very shiney and even gets rid of watermarks. Its a spray on and wipe kinda thing and i would really reccomend it. Im gonna get another can to keep in the car with a spare microfibre for shows ect. anyway more pics...

Finally, noticed my vec-c.com stickers are looking a bit tired, so these may be getting replaced with some new ones in the near future.

You just gave it a wash and some detailer on top? Looking very shiney

Have you tried some Dodo Juice RM yet? Worked well on my black motor mate

Just a wash and then the AG Instant Show Shine. Its got a few coats of Pinnacle Signature II on it still so that with the AG ISS over the top brought a good shine out.

Havnt tried Dodo Juice RM mate, might give it a go though. Been waiting on some Zaino Z8 from Harry but hes having trouble sourcing some at the moment. Duncan kindly let be try some of his on my motor at PVS and that was a joy to use and realy made it shine and paint was very smooth.

Which wax do you have on yours mate?

I've been interested in trying some of the Zaino range but they are quite expensive.

I'm currently using FK1000P and it's amazing mate. I've got some CG Jetseal 109 to try as well which i'm looking forward to

Let me know how you get on with the Jetseal mate, heard good things about this.

P.S what are you using to protect your wheels? Ive refurbed mine recently and applied 2 coates of Pinnacle before putting them back on the car, seems to do the job well but just thought id ask what other people use.

Will do mate, i've been doing detailing reviews each time so you'll have to keep a lookout mate

I use SmartWax RimWax. Seems to work really well and keeps the brake dust off for a fair bit. Might try something else soon though.

Oh ill have a look through some of your reviews mate, cheers for the heads up.

Want to put something on the wheels so that when i was them a good rinse will get rid of a majority of the brake dust, so all i need to do is give them a quick going over with a brush rather then what im doing at the moment which is getting 3 brushes out and the megs all wheel cleaner (watered down) and spending ages on the wheels. oh and might even clean my painted callipers and add a coat to those as well and see how it gets on.
