    Default Automatic Windows

    Guys,

Just noticed today that my drivers side automatic open/shut is not working.

Works fine for the passangers from the passangers door and also drivers door.

It was working up until a couple of days ago but hasnt cleared.

Ive looked through the manual and tried the tip it suggests on page 128.

    Anyone else got any ideas?

    Cheers

Not sure what the tip on Page 128 is (as there are different versions of the manual). But normally if a window has lost it's auto setting, you wind down the window, then wind it up keeping the up button pressed for a few seconds after it has closed. You'll hear a little click. That should normally be it.

Don't know if that's what you've tried already?

Yesterday i had a problem with the co- drivers window. I opened it from drivers door and when i tried to wind it up it simply refused. It refused from the codrivers door as well. After a while and a lot of tries it closed. I did not try to open it since.
Any known remedies to fix this problem?

try the connector that takes the wiring into the door from the car.. that may be the problem.. or you may have a broken wire...

This one will take some digging by an auto electrician to find..
