    Default Swirl Valve Check-HOW??

    Guy's, how can I tell if the Swirl Valve on the CDTI 150 is playing up or not?

    A visual check will show play or even the link bar coming off one or more valve tops, also there may be a collection of gunge around a valve that has worn.

    Old Inlet:
    Rod was very easy to put on and off so no wonder it fell off easy.. it hardley grips.. I can see now that a washer would be quite a good fix for the rod I think.


    Showing here one of the many issues with the old inlet.. The swirls move up and down too much aparently.. this causes the wear on the ball joints etc and cause the rod to come off... Also effects the swirl operation etc...
