    Default Wash Wipe Question

    Hi all

Driving along, i went to wash my front windows pulling the stalk towards me, and it washes/wipes ok - however im very sure it does not do the single afterwipe.

Thinking that i Imagined the whole thing i have checked the manual and its supposed to.

Not really bothered as long as it does do its wash/wipe in the 1st place - however i was wondering if anyone else had the same problem and if they knew what was causing it

    Many Thanks

the "follow up" wipe to remove "dribbles" only occurs at speeds lower than 30 mph iirc

at higher spped the vehicle is likely to have removed the drips and therefore no requirement to have a follow up wipe and cause additional wear on your poor old wiper blades

Thanks everyone, it does indeed "Single Wipe" upto 30 mph, after that it apears not to.

However to quote from the manual that I downloaded of the internet

"The wiper is switched on for several wipe
operations. A single after-wipe occurs at
speeds of up to 80 mph (130 km/h)."

This is either a misprint, or they adapted it for models >2006 as this is July 07 Edition and my car is reg 2006 (06)
