    Default Has anyone tried

I just found on Ebay & Kwik fit website they have a tyre finder for your car, you put in your car number plate and it finds tyres for your car. Sounds good but both came back with 17" tyres my car has standard wheels and they are 16" Has anyone else found this

maybe you've got the wrong wheels on ? what model have you got ? Ill give it a try. Cant find my car, works for other family cars but gives a choice of sizes. Why not just go and check the sizes on your tyres ?

I dont know the model well enough - I know the LS came with 16" and the SRI with 17" as standard. Buyers can always specify optional alloys so I guess it makes it hard to say what size are fitted even if the car has never had the wheels changed.

think they just look up the make and model from that rather than your car specifically.

I've used a couple before (not the ones mentioned above) and they've been wrong for my Vectra and my Dad's Astra.

www.tyre-shopper.co.uk was one of them, can't remember the other one.
