Default Picking up Vectra Estate tomorrow

Picking up 2006 Vectra Elite Estate 1.9 CDTI (150) tommorrow, Sapphire black. Can't wait. After a trip away with the family (wife, toddler and baby) suddenly discovered there was no room for us all with luggage, double pushchair, and travel cots so on our return decided to trade in our Veccy Hatchback.

Now though after reading through forums got loads of mods I want to do.

Genuine Park Pilot front and Rear
    Folding Mirrors
    Fit Roof Rails
    Vx Bluetooth upgrade
    Detachable Towbar

and not sure if fitted or not as never knew about these but also cooled glove box and park assist where passenger mirror tilts down when reverse selected.

Just a couple of bodywork issues to sort once i've picked it up, minor niggles but will bug me if i don't and see if local stealer will do handbrake fix, as had it done on the hatch and it made loads of difference to the feel of the handbrake.

    Roll on tomorrow

sounds like a nice car.. and some challenges to do some modding..

the most tricky part would probaly be the memory pack as thats what the dipping wing mirror is part of.. if you get that the rest would nearly be easy.. the park pilot would also involve som hefty wiring issues...

We've got 3 black labs, not planning to let them in there just yet though.

Was kinda hoping wing mirror trick would be a Tech2 issue, may hold off on that one until i know more.

I'm pretty good when it comes to wiring and bodywork just let down on the mechanical side but hey that's what kid brothers and dads are for. Realise there's some taks ahead, but just plan on taking my time.

Definitely a good choice for all that

Had a GSD, Labrador, & two smaller dogs together in the back of mine with more than enough room for them all & that's without the seat down.

The only vehicle I've ever driven with more room in the back is a Land Rover.

They will love the view !
We use a dog cage which is great and saves mess.
Seats are for people I say...but, I stand to be out voted on that

Agree with Pete, hard to find a bigger, more useful estate.
