    Default Vectra Estate Roof Rails

After looking at various pics of other Vectras i'd like to fit the Star Silver roof rails to mine, on EPC it shows two different versions in silver I just wondered if anybody knew what the difference was. Also once the current roof trim is removed what parts do i get to fill the void around the windscreen as the roof trim runs from the bottom of the windscreen up onto the roof and to the tailgate. If anybody has done this any pics and advice will be appreciated

the trim by the windscreen stops when it reaches to the roofrails..

the rails are just bolted down..

the differences is probaly due to model year or to the model of the car.. think theres only 2 for the estate.. 1 black, and 1 star silver/black.

Is there a shorter trim then to purchase as well fpr the windscreen or do you just cut the existing trim to size, in which case is it marked up to as where they nut to be cut?

mine was on when i bought the car.. but dont think theres another trim.. (then you should be able to find it on epc...

i would just cut it.. after you have put the roofrails on.. because then you can see how far they should go..

I've had a quick look and i realise the biggest part of it all will be dropping the headlining. Probaly a good days work taking it steady to get the roof rails on then another half day to refit the roof lining. I'm more worried about the trim as on EPC it only shows the one trim for the roof hence do I cut the existing ones and if so where

    Cheers Ken,

Any chance you could pm me a pic of yours where the trim and roof rails meet to get an idea. Been trying to find one locally in a garage but none of them have the roof rails. Checked epc and it only lists the one piece from front to rear

Cheers Ken, they look as if they are just cut square.

Gonna keep my eyes out for some Star Silver ones, annoying I just missed a pair on eBay that sold for £75 new.
