Default Would you trust buying a 2nd hand EGR Valve?

Following on from another thread, it looks like my Dad's SRI CDTI 150 may need an EGR Valve repalcement ()!

Have been scouring ebay and other sites and have located a few second hand one'e.

Question is....WOULD YOU TRUST BUYING A 2nd HAND ONE?

No...too much chance that the reason it's been removed and put up for sale is that it needed to be replaced.

£150 for a new one - if it was me I'd ring Vx on Monday and ask if it's a Trade Club item, and if it is could cost between £75-£100. Do you know anyone with TC access?

I did, and its been perfect.

It was off a Saab 93 and was reconditioned - been perfect in my car since fitting, only £35 delivered off eBay too.

Seller was koshka1234 and gets them periodically.
