Default a/g s/ resin polish etc

just bought some a/glym srp and ultra deep shine as the motor is black sapphire, would i need to put a wax after the uds or is there sufficient wax within the product? if so which wax at a reasonable price, i have been using megs carnauba no3 but it doesn`t last very long before losing the beading effect, cheers keith

I would put a coat of wax on top. There are so many different wax,s to choose from. Plenty of sealents too. Colinite 915 is the recomended one for it,s durability. But at the moment I am trying out Finish Kare 1000p sealent. I am so far VERY impressed with it. But one of my favorite wax,s has to be Victoria concours wax. All of these I have mentiopned cost less than £30. I don,t know how much you were thinking of spending. But for under £20 Bilt Hamber Autobalm is very good. I am also trying that product out on the wifes Vectra. After the second application ( I did not have any instructions with it) I now know how to apply it correctly and this is another very good products so far. If you follow the instructions correctly.

It's all about personal preference and how much you are looking at spending mate. I use FK1000P and that last for AGES (I did one coat about 6-7 weeks ago and STILL beading well ). I've also got CG Jetseal 109 that i have to try, which i'm looking forward to and will put some pics up when done

    CHEERS PARSCO,
i read up on the fk1000p and went for it on the reviews, plus the size of tin=value for £ss
hopefully, but there was little detail on the application process & some said there are no instructions on the tin, could you give any info please, I ordered it 1/2 hour ago so it should arrive this week, looks like its a busy weekend for me!! coz I`m also waiting for some pi 30mm springs to arrive. How many hours are there in a day?

Also, SRP & UDS pretty much do the same thing, ie polish & fill, so save on elbow grease & just use one or the other.

Oh, and don't forget the pics!

    top man

you can apply it either using a bog standard microfibre and buff off with a plush microfibre. Or you can apply it with a foam applicator and buff off with plush microfibre. Make sure you apply it evenly and remember that less is more when it comes to wax. Couple of coats and she'll bead for AGES mate Good luck
