Default Keep getting trouble code: P0400-5A, on SRI CDTI 150

EGR Valve and Boost sensor have been cleaned and all the trouble codes have been reset.

Now the system keeps dropping the spanner light on the dash with the same code.

The spanner light turns off after the car is turned off then re-started!

    ANYONE !

Could be that the EGR valve needs replacing rather than cleaning. You probably already know this but P0400 is for EGR malfunction, and P0400-5A is for insufficient flow detected.

Make sure you read the 'HOW 2' on EGR cleaning before you finally decide to replace though.

    Good threads here.

It looks like you're one of the unlucky ones then mate.

It might be a good idea to use the 'Fiat' gaskets on your new one though.

With the Fiat gasket, as its only got 2 small hole's, would that not just mean more carbon build up on the manifold side?
