Default Performance from 3.2 GSI Vec C?

    Hi Guys

The standard performance on the 3.2 Vec C looks pretty impressive. 0-60 in 7 secs flat and 150mph

What performance gains do you think you would get from schrick cams, air filter, decent exhaust system, tubular manifolds and a remap?

Should be a bit of a rocket for a big car?

    Tom

Will the Schrick cams go in without machining the head? Nearly all cams go in the 2.2 fine, but with Schrick cams you need to get the heads machined to fit the bigger springs. It may be different for the Z32SE though but worth checking.

think they come as a kit, and for £990 (i think) they would want to at that price

your best bet is to buy a left hand drive gsi then add a supercharger.

i cant afford the 2.8 v6 they are too new and are still going for £8000+

the 3.2's can be picked up for £3000 now and then spend the money on it as and when i get it!

i should imagine the cams would add 20bhp and the full exhaust system 20bhp at least then remapped it should be pushing 260/270 bhp. That should be sub 6.0 seconds to 60mph and thats impreza teritory

A standard GSI will be quicker than a WRX Scoob once rolling anyway and the Vecs top speed is 155 not 150(sometimes a little more though).
