Default Our new Astra Panoramic Roof arrived today....

Me and my old man have been taking it for a spin. What a lovely car the Astra is. This one is design spec and has the Panoramic Roof option. It is like being in a convertible, except nice and dry!

The 1.9 CDTi 150bhp engine fits in the 3 door sportshatch SO well. Will be a trip down to 888 to get the business done too.

Bit of a money saving pinch with Vauxhall that I have been a bit pi$$ed off at...... Almost £18k worth of car, doesn't have cruise control or a trip computer.

    Still, lovely car

I know we're a Vec C / Signum site but come on! One little pic is allowed to show off this panoramic roof thingy. Well, I'd like to see it!

I reckon cruise would be a good possibilty as a retro fit. New indicator arm and clutch switch? Or is the control on the steering wheel?

Had a look at the panoramic roof today when I was waiting to buy the VXr It looks great, the VXr hasn`t cruise control as standard either, but I have read it can be retro fitted cheaper than an option price ...

I have cruise on my sport-hatch and its on the indicator arm. You can also decrease the speed as well as increase by using the switch (couldn't do this on my vec-C only increase).
You can also disengage the cruise using either the switch or brake pedal, on the early vec-c you could only switch the cruise off by touching the brakes

    Hi
the trip computer should be on the Design/SRi spec
unless you have gone for the top radio upgrade
its controlled though the steering wheel, you scroll though the options
    as for cruise control
you need a stalk and a tech2 to activate it

Design is fast becoming the model to have. Vxl keep removing equipment from the SRi, but don't seem to touch the Design.

Any pics of the car, CDTi?
