Anyone recommend a good insurance company for provisional drivers ?

Well after 14 years of driving I've finally bitten the bullet and applied for my provisional licence , and I'm gonna need insurance - I've never bothered before

.

Sorry I could'nt help myself , I can just imagine what everyone is thinking as they read that

, but seriously , I need to add the mrs onto the car insurance , as she has just got a provisional licence , but everywhere I try is ridiculously expensive ?
So if anyone knows of somewhere apart from the obvious please let me know , I'm trying flux and chris knott as I type

i got insurance through prudential for my other half and through marks and spenser for daughter hope this helps you

when i was a provisional QUINN DIRECT were the cheapest for me. But they stung me when i told them i passed

yeah had the same were cheap to start off with then started creeping back up

they stung me with £400 in 10 working days as you have passed

after my first year of driving without a claim that £400 was taken back off my premium. I'm still happy as yet. When my vec turns up, Hopefully by the end of the year i'll look at Adrian flux and chris knott
