    Question French Road Tolls

I'm off to Le Mans - France in september for a weeks fishing.
Does anyone know of a website that will work out road toll costs if i enter the route i'm taking.
Or has anyone been within the last few weeks that can remember what they paid.
I've checked out a couple of sites and they're a bit vague.
Need to be a little more accurate.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi

I use either www.mappy.co.uk .UK gets english language but then you need to change place locations to france
le mans from calais is 266 miles (257 on the autoroutes) and €18 in tolls,
or http://www.viamichelin.co.uk again gets english front page and gives 266miles (255 on motorway) @ €26.10
but the route is optimised to avoid jams etc and may change by the hour/day/week - just alter the 'recommended'
to quickest, shortest or whatever suits.
The prices listed are class 1 which is a solo car/van under 2m tall and can include a trailer but not a caravan.

quite easy on this site,in a normal post/reply put your web link in,it should become blue, when this is the case use the left mouse button and highlight the link, then insert what you want,to get a gap you use a underline so here is a couple of examples www.vectra-c.com becomes link or vectra_c

Or Type the word you want to use as your link ie the word "HERE" then highlight it so it turns blue and click on the globe symbol in the editor (the one under the white smilie) enter the URL you want it to point t and your done...

No Problem I'm sure the 2 posts above will help someone who searches how to do it..

@Phil, I'm sure we only had 2 tolls in the area of Calais & Le Mans, one was for crossing a Via duct (road bridge to us ) and the other was a normal road toll, neither of them cost alot, its when you go down the centre of france to spain or italy that you encounter higher road tolls, the highest we've had has only been 33 euros for a section of road around 300 / 400 hundred miles long..

Pete, we've usually got a big box trailer on the back or go in my mates Peugeot boxer van, so the charges are a little higher.
I'm using my car this time with just a roofbox and no trailer.
Going down the A16/A28 route via Rouen.
