    Default Whats this ?

    When I removed the front ashtray to polish it ( yes im a clean freak ) I noticed a very wide multi-plug socket . Anyone what its for ?

    I think Its probably where the dealers plug in their diagnostic stuff, my wife has an almost identical one on her ford focus

    Sounds like the Tech2 plug socket (Where dealer plugs in diagnostics as Stu has said)

    defo the tech 2 socket -so don't go messin' about with too much polish in there.

    As above, definitely the diagnostic/Tech 2 socket. Used it many a time as that's where I plug my remapping gizmo in!!
