    Default 18" Multispokes

Hello guys, I picked up my multispokes last night and discovered that they are ET45's. I had a quick look through the forums this morning and it looks like they won't fit my car without wheel spacers. I don't want to start playing with wheel spacers and longer wheel nuts so looks like I'm stuck.

Can someone just confirm for me that this is the case please?

This was copied from this post mate... http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showpo...35&postcount=4

"The Vectra/Signum version is 7.5 x 18" ET41 and should run 225 45 18" tyres. But Vauxhall also did two other offset versions, ET37 for fitment to Astra H, and ET45 for fitment to Astra G Coupe. Again you can run the 225 40 18" tyres but 225 45's are the factory size. Astra H ET37 versions can be fitted to Vectra C with no problems, but stay away from the Astra G ET45 versions."

    Hope this helps...

Well I have come home and measured the inside of the alloys and I can't tell any difference. Anyone know if I should have major CM or MM difference between the ET41 and ET45. It looks like the ET45 might fit.

I am going to try and fit one of them tonight and see if they catch on anything.

Well I have just tried to fit them and they fit fine apart from the inner edge of the wheel rim being rather close to the strut )about 5mm to 1cm. Couldn't find my tape measure.. I can't get the handle of my long nose pliers between the wheel and the strut, but only just can't. I fitted the ET41 and my pliers slip between the wheel and the strut with a few milimeters to play with. I think a 5mm spacer would do the job.

Would 5mm spacer be okay? no extra stress to the wheel bearing. I intend to keep the car for a good few years yet. Also would i need longer wheel nuts? if so where can I get the spacers and wheel nuts from?

Something else I thought about was putting the ET 41 on the front and the ET45 on the back???? or shall I keep them all the same?

If its that close then its up to you How about having a drive and keep an eye on it? Although I think I would be thinking about a set of small spacers.

Well wheels have gone in for refurb today. I collect them next week with new tyres. Guy at the wheel shop said that I should be okay without spacers but if required I will only need 3mm spacers. So fingers crossed next week should have them fitted and will put up some photos.

Well hopefully going to pick up my Multispokes today from their refurb. Having new tyres fitted as well. Going to be an expensive day today. Was my wife's 30th earlier in the month and just realised how much I actually spent on her.
