    Default Facelift fog lights

Does anyone know if you can just buy the glass for the front fog lights on a facelift?
I ask, as my nearside one got smashed on the MWay tonight?
Or am i going to have to buy the complete fog light assembly?

    Thanks.

dealers are not known for selling bits as seperate items so I'm going to hazard a guess and say you'll probably have to buy the whole thing.

I'm going to take the bumper off this weekend and have a look. I've already arranged with a mate tonight to have a piece of laminated glass cut 5mm larger circumferance than what i can measure on the fog at the moment, so i should be able to bodge something cheaper as i don't want to shell out for a complete fog light.

if you dry it out and seal properly it may even stop the annoying fogging up of the standard ones

Flappin EK! only seen your post now.... I got one of the stealers. £54.00 in the end, as it's not just a round pice of glass, it's more complicated than that

I'll post some pics up. In no particular order, but as you can see the broken fog light is not just a round piece of glass and it is bonded to the casing.

The 3rd picture shows how i used 2 pieces of wire to hold the bumper, whilst i clipped the sides in (a good tip if you are doing it on your own!)
