    I was talking with Duncan about that the other day, and as far as he knew the steering is still driven by belt.

    NP, I thought the samething, I'd read it was electric as well, and assumed it was driven in someway by the battery circuit.

    If it is a electric pump then great my idea will work, if it is belt driven then it is a no go'er.

    Just started to pish it down so tommorrow now!

    I had idea's too, mine wont work now, but your's might, if you do solve it DO NOT post it on the net anywhere, it will just get stolen before you can do anything with it.

    On the GSi and mrs Gsi's elegance the pump is electrical not belt driven..
